How does the sand stay inside the jewelry? Every piece is carefully handse with real beach sand and sealed permanently beneath glass. The sand won't fall out, shift, or deteriorate over time. Your piece is built to last a lifetime.
What metals do you use? We offer pieces in stainless steel, sterling silver, and gold-filled settings. Stainless steel is our most durable option and handles everyday wear beautifully — including saltwater and chlorine. Sterling silver and gold-filled pieces should be removed before swimming or bathing to maintain their finish.
How long will it take to receive my order? All jewelry is handmade to order in my Maine studio and ready to ship within 1–3 business days. Orders ship via USPS from Maine. Free shipping on all U.S. orders of $35 and above.
Can I change the length of my necklace? Yes! Just leave a note during checkout with your preferred length and I'll take care of it.
Can I send you my own sand? I offer this for returning customers who have previously purchased from my shop. New customers are warmly invited to shop from my existing collection of beach sand from locations across the U.S. and beyond.
Why don't you offer sand from Hawaii or National Parks? It's illegal to collect sand from Hawaii and National Parks. The entire Hawaiian island chain is federally protected, and removing sand or coral from the shoreline is prohibited by law. National Parks carry the same protections. I only work with sand that's been ethically and legally sourced.
What is your return policy? Because every piece is custom made to order, I don't accept returns. However your happiness truly matters to me. If there's a quality issue or your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order and I will make it right.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? If your order hasn't shipped yet I'll do my best to accommodate changes. Because everything is handmade quickly, please contact me as soon as possible — orders are processed daily.
My jewelry needs a repair — what do I do? I'm happy to repair your piece. Repairs are charged at 50% of the original retail price plus return shipping. Email me with your order number and a description of the issue and I'll send you a repair invoice.
Do you offer wholesale? Yes — effective March 2025 we are accepting wholesale orders. Please visit our wholesale page for details.
