Good-bye International Shipping

So I don't watch the news. I live in my own little bubble and I really like it. I wake up, drink my tea or coffee, and spend time outside thinking about my day and planning out what I want to accomplish. I don't listen to the radio, Alexa is in control of my tunes. I don't login to social media. I make jewelry, read books, and take long walks at noon to clear my head and center myself.

I've been shipping packages internationally for over 20 years without any issues. I have no idea what's going on, but I have a feeling that other countries don't really like the USA at the moment. I don't get involved and I really don't care....until now. Every single international order that I've received has had an issue or something. Most of the issues that are coming across my plate at the moment are massive delivery delays. Orders that were mailed out last May still haven't made it to their destination yet. I've got one package going from the USA to France...should be pretty easy right? It's been re-routed to Iceland, then Turkey, and is now on it's way to China I think. This order is racking up passport stamps left and right.

Next is the VAT tax issue. If your international package does in fact arrive, the postal carrier will refuse to deliver it to you unless you pay the VAT tax which has increased significantly. In some countries, the VAT tax outweighs the value of the jewelry.

So I'm done. I've officially hit my limit today. I just want to be the girl who makes jewelry, ships the jewelry to customers, and any problems incurred are at a minimal if any. I need easy in my life right now. When every single international order that I have is experiencing a problem, that's when I know it's time to shut things down.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
